Units that push water uphill rely on a small pump, and when it dies the water has nowhere to go but out.

Low refrigerant

Ice forms on the coil, melts, and reads as a leak even though the real fault is the charge.

Pull the filter

If it is grey and matted, wash it, let it dry, and see whether the drip stops over a day.

Check the drain outlet

Find where the pipe exits outside and clear leaves or debris from the end.

Look at where the water shows

A drip from the indoor unit points to drain or coil trouble, while a wet patch under the outdoor unit on a humid day can be normal condensate.

Anything past that involves opening the unit, and refrigerant work is illegal without a full ARC licence, so leave the internals to us.
